Because, my friend, you imagine yourself living in a perfect, fair world, you are hard on yourself. You think that just as you are fair (based on your moral standards) and just (based on your moral standards) everyone else in the world would be the same. And when others are not, when others cheat, you believe that action must be taken and authorities must be let known about this, and you believe that your action is virtouos.

You are a perfectionist, and you work as hard as you can to achieve the best results possible. You yourself feel cheated if someone gets away with cheating, as if your hard work meant nothing.

But our world in not fair and just. Our world celebrates those who cheat the system, because to cheat the system is to cheat the authorities. Why should others have it so easy through cheating when you have worked so hard?
